Mighty Dream

I've been working under the studio moniker, Mighty Dream, since May of 2008 without a presence on the web other than a splash page—odd for someone who calls himself a web designer, no? One scrapped design later and many months in, Mighty Dream finally claimed an official home on the world wide web.

For the design, I went bold and expansive using dark background colors with metallic-like elements in the foreground. The goal was to evoke a dream-like feeling for obvious reasons and support the superhero-like stylings of the logo.

Having not found a simple, extensible CMS for simple sites, I decided to roll my own in CakePHP. The tumblelog is powered by Tumblr and was my first shot at creating and integrating a Tumblr template.
